A woman in France was scammed out of €830,000 after believing she was in a relationship with Brad Pitt. These are the photos she received, allegedly from Brad Pitt, that convinced her.

Anne, 53, was scammed into believing she was in a relationship with someone pretending to be Brad Pitt. It started in February 2023 when she joined Instagram and was contacted by someone claiming to be Pitt’s mother. Shortly after, the impersonator began messaging her. Fake AI photos, documents, and constant messages slowly gained her trust, especially as she dealt with a struggling marriage.

The scam soon turned financial. He asked for money for customs fees and medical bills, costing Anne 830,000 euros, including her divorce settlement. AI-generated videos and accomplices pretending to be family members, like his “daughter Shiloh,” made it all seem real to her.

By mid-2024 Anne realized the truth. She was left broke, emotionally shattered, and estranged from her daughter. Now recovering from severe depression, she shares her story to warn others about AI-driven scams. “I never meant harm to anyone, yet I was targeted,” she said tearfully.
