Following the rally, Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to promote a petition supporting First and Second Amendment rights—free speech and the right to bear arms—targeting voters in crucial swing states. The petition offered a $47 incentive for each registered voter referred in support of these constitutional amendments, as part of an effort by Musk’s political action committee, “Elon’s America PAC.”

Musk’s promotion of gun rights, especially amid the polarized debate in the U.S., further solidified his alignment with conservative values. Gun rights remain a contentious issue, with advocates pushing for broad access to firearms, while critics warn of the public safety risks associated with the easy availability of guns.
