Apple’s long-rumored iPhone Fold may arrive with a jaw-dropping price tag between $2,100 and $2,300, according to serial leaker Instant Digital on Weibo.
The foldable iPhone has been in development for years, and with Apple entering the foldables space for the first time, premium pricing was always expected. The rumored price aligns with Apple’s typical profit margins and mirrors predictions made earlier this year by Barclays’ Tim Long and top Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who also estimated a price range between $2,000 and $2,500.
Here’s how it compares:
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6: $1,899–$2,259
- Google Pixel Fold: $1,799–$1,919
- OnePlus Open: $1,699
- Samsung Flip6: $1,099–$1,219
That means the iPhone Fold could cost more than any other foldable on the market today.
With higher R&D costs, complex folding tech, and Apple’s entry into a new category, analysts expect this will be a top-tier, ultra-premium device.
