The Trump Organization is making a bold move into the digital world with plans for a Trump-branded metaverse, NFT marketplace, and online education platform.

On February 24, 2025, DTTM Operations LLC, the entity managing Trump-related trademarks, filed an “intent to use” application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the name “TRUMP”, signaling plans to develop digital assets and experiences under the brand.

Trump Metaverse & NFT Marketplace in the Works

According to the filing, the Trump Organization envisions a virtual world featuring:

  • Trump-branded digital goods, including clothing, footwear, and accessories for avatars.
  • A TRUMP-branded virtual restaurant, potentially offering an interactive dining experience.
  • A blockchain-powered NFT and cryptocurrency marketplace, where users can trade Trump-authorized digital assets.

The filing also refers to educational programs, suggesting the Trump brand will provide online training in public service, business, real estate, fundraising, and hospitality management.

The Trump Brand Goes Digital

The trademark application was submitted on an “intent to use” basis, meaning the Trump Organization is laying the groundwork for future expansion into the digital economy. The NFT marketplace and metaverse strategy align with broader industry trends, where major brands are leveraging blockchain technology for virtual commerce and interactive experiences.

The filing states that all digital assets will be authenticated through blockchain technology and authorized by “the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America.”

A Strategic Expansion into Web3?

This move comes as NFTs and metaverse applications continue to evolve, despite market volatility in the crypto space. While past Trump-branded NFT projects have seen mixed success, this filing suggests a larger, more structured digital strategy could be in the works.

With the Trump brand entering the metaverse, the question remains: Will this become a political movement, a business empire expansion, or both?
