Tempus AI, a Chicago-based provider of data and analytics tools for precision medicine, raised $411 million in its IPO, pricing at the top of its $35-$37 range and achieving a market value exceeding $6 billion. The company’s largest shareholder is founder and CEO Eric Lefkofsky, also known for co-founding Groupon. Tempus, backed by investors like Baillie Gifford and NEA, claims to have the world’s largest library of clinical and molecular data to aid healthcare providers in patient care.
