Beast Industries, the media platform founded by YouTube creator MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), is set to receive a $200 million investment from Bitmine Immersion Technologies, according to an announcement on Thursday.

The deal is expected to close on or around January 19 and values Beast Industries as a major digital platform with more than 450 million subscribers and over 5 billion monthly views across its properties.

Bitmine chairman Tom Lee said the investment reflects a broader shift in how digital platforms and finance are converging, with Ethereum playing a central role in the future tokenisation of money, stocks, and digital services.

Lee described the deal as bringing together the world’s largest content creator with what he called the largest Ethereum-focused platform. He also reiterated his bullish outlook on crypto, saying he expects both bitcoin and Ethereum to reach new highs in 2026, with Ethereum outperforming.

Shares of Bitmine rose more than 1% premarket following the announcement and are up over 20% year to date, well ahead of the S&P 500.

The investment comes as US lawmakers prepare to hold hearings on a new crypto market structure bill, which supporters say could provide long-awaited regulatory clarity for the industry.
