The iPhone 16 series is set to be unveiled soon, but the exact date remains in question. The anticipated Apple keynote could take place on September 10, but with the Presidential debate scheduled for the same day, Apple might consider shifting the event. As we approach the expected iPhone 16 release date, Apple fans are closely watching for any updates on the schedule, including the possibility of a keynote on Monday, September 9, instead.
Pre-orders are likely to begin on Friday, September 13, with the new iPhones arriving in customers’ hands by September 20. The Presidential debate could influence Apple’s final decision on the keynote date.
“Apple Inc. is planning to hold its biggest product launch event of the year on Sept. 10, when the company will unveil the latest iPhones, watches and AirPods, according to people familiar with the situation,” says Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his X post.
Apple has scheduled an unusual and mandatory meeting for employees at all Apple retail stores for the evening of Sept 12 or morning of Sept 13. This would be ahead of the iPhone 16 release a week later — but pre launch meetings are typically held on Sundays not during the week.
