The foldable iPhone would resemble the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip with a horizontal clamshell design. While there’s no guarantee of its release, the project’s official development stage, codenamed V68, signifies significant progress.
Challenges and Innovations
Apple faces technical challenges like eliminating display creases and justifying the high cost with compelling features. The iPhone 16, set for future release, will introduce new features like a pressure-sensitive button for photos and videos, easier battery replacement, and an upgraded optical zoom lens. Additionally, a new iPhone SE (codenamed V59) is expected to launch before the winter holidays, and future models may feature user-controllable apertures for enhanced depth-of-field effects.
