TikTok is enhancing its fundraising capabilities for creators by partnering with Goodstack, a fintech firm specializing in managing charitable donations. This collaboration enables creators to raise money for verified nonprofits like the American Red Cross and Save the Children through personalized fundraising campaigns.

New Features for Fundraising

  • Personalization: Creators can now customize their fundraising pages with:
    • Custom titles and descriptions
    • Background images
    • Specific goal amounts
    • Personal messages or stories explaining their passion for the cause
  • Interactive Stickers: TikTok offers unique stickers for fundraising campaigns, which creators can share across videos, posts, and LIVE sessions. These stickers display aggregated donation totals.

Improved Fundraising Experience

Previously, creators could only share standard donation links via stickers. Now, they can set personal goals, such as raising $500 for the American Heart Association in honor of a loved one, adding a personal touch to campaigns.

TikTok’s updated donation platform provides access to Goodstack’s validated database of nonprofit partners, offering support for a wide range of global and local causes.

Founded in 2015, Goodstack is a SaaS company managing charitable donations for organizations like UNICEF, WWF, and Oxfam. The company recently secured $28 million in Series A funding, led by General Catalyst.

This move underscores TikTok’s effort to empower creators to drive meaningful impact while fostering deeper connections with their audiences.
